About Battle Blog

Battle Blog is an open source Classic ASP blogging solution directly incorporating democratic content controls. There is a history to it and much of that is presented in this blog posting. It is a pioneer in the application of a rating system that designates popular content through crowdsourcing actions reflected collectively from users up or downvoting content.

Currently, Battle Blog exists as the custom blogging solution for my various other Dave the Web Guy projects and as such is not available to others. It will, however, eventually be available for download and individual implementation once a number of internal development objectives are met. There were a scant number of Battle Blog users prior to version 2.0, but 2.0 will not be directly backward compatible with these earlier implementations.

Interested visitors may monitor the communication in various ways to learn of developments and availibility.

About This Website

This website is the current demonstration and development vehicle for Battle Blog 2.0. This website tests and demonstrates, at a production level, the changes and enhancements as they are rolled out. This functional purpose will be achieved simultaneously while providing insight and commentary in the area of personal web publishing and blogging, topics this developer is keen on. When Battle Blog is made available for general download this site will further act as its primary support resource.
