What I listen To - Politics/News

I listen to a lot of political and news shows while I work (both on the comic and other things). I don't know why, but I'm a political junkie. On occasion, people ask me where I get my information. Much of it is from these broadcasts.

Air America Radio has three shows I enjoy, so I am a yearly subscriber. But if you go HERE, you can download some free samples of the shows I mention. It's completely legitimate, but some of the shows themselves are somewhat old. They're all commercial free though.

Here are the shows in order of interest:

The Rachel Maddow Show - Presenting 20+ news stories a day, some in great detail. The news and the opinions are strongly delineated and even if you don't agree with her, you will inevitably learn something you hadn't known. There are usually an interview or two and a few lighter segments.

Seder on Sundays - formerly "The Sam Seder Show" formerly "The Majority Report" - This is a interview/call-in show with a very witty host (Sam Seder). He's been relegated to merely one time per week, but he also maintains a very good blog on airamericaradio.com

Thom Hartman - A very liberal call-in/interview show with a knowledgable host. Usually the most interesting bits are when he debates right wing guests. Be careful with him though ... he skews things to his point of view a bit more than I'm comfortable with.

Marc Maron - does not actually have a show right now. If he did he would be number one or two on my list. Maron is a very funny comedian who's perspective on the world is always interesting and oftentimes somewhat disturbing.

Well, that's enough for now. But I do recommend these shows for what it's worth.

How about you? Any podcasts/shows that are great on news and politics worth my time?

Because of the widespread news happening around the world, the demand for hermes handbags has finally reached its peak. Currently, many celebrities are a fan of this beautiful and fantastic creation of Kelly handbag . Primarily, when we say these people are a fan of Kelly handbags they don not only own one.
