About the HPB

The HPB is the official blog of the Headline Prophet website covering issues, drama, and antics of the mainstream media. The blog shares the same objective of the Headline Prophet website to illuminate the formulaic construction of, and the self-ascribing importance of big media. It is hoped that in a fun and perhaps even useful way, the mainstream media can be "de-authorized" in its current form at the level of everyday common perception.
