Local fellow blog
Can of Worms calls my attention this morning to
the most in-depth and revigorating pro-rail stories I've seen fly from our local media in a long time. The story seems to anchor pro-rail Louis Miller, TIA Director struggling to maintain world-class status with his airport despite the fact the best anyone gets in stepping off a plane, is a road. For all the lamenting I do here at Tampa Rail, it's imperative to remember that over time an economic case - even one involving competition with other cities - tends to develop itself. This piece certainly goes into all that.
Looks like I picked a good day to put this blog back online!
Updates:
6/24/06 - Looks like someone actually posted a
literal newspaper clip of the article itself. Handy for those of us who didn't actually get a chance to see the paper version of this Trib article. It's unclear what point the poster was trying to make. If you look at the bottom of the posting he or she makes reference to "paragraph number 2 on the second page" being the reason he or she "quit". Go figure.
