Check it out, I won the ticket lottery for the David Letterman program airing Monday night at 11:30 on CBS. There's some kind of hint that I've struck them a certain way, so I'm wondering if I'll wind up more than just an audience member. Can't say for sure, but in any event, tune in Monday night and scan real hard for me in the audience.

I have another week of applying, answering call backs, and at least one job fair ahead of me. In the meanwhile, I'm sightseeing and enjoying what I can of the city.
Regarding the Late Show, I skipped on into the Ed Sullivan theater Friday when I saw the sign indicating where to go for the tickets. When it turned out to be a lottery, I filled out the paperwork and submitted myself, thinking, surely, nothing would come of it. Alas, I got the call today. This alone will be worth the risk I'm taking in forging around up here as far as I'm concerned. Dave Letterman is still King.
