Well this really gave me goose bumps. I went to take my morning shower when I encountered the horrific sight of thousands of black ants which had evidently colonized the creases and folds of the shower curtain.
You can
see the video. It's not of high quality given the lighting and the granularity of the subject, but you'll still find it just squeamish enough to consider yourself entertained for the day.
I've got his on video, take a gander.During the dry weather, and when it's cooler outside, the bathroom always attracts ants. This is the first time they've ever done anything like this on such large scale.
I batted the curtain and let them scramble for an exit rather than opting to kill them outright. For one thing I've got a phobia of ant swarms, and for another, I'm too compassionate to just wipe out such a life force in any one fell swoop simply because it wandered into a bad area. Instead, I batted the curtain, did without a shower for the day, and came home to find they had all left. Message received, and much more humane. However, I'll likely be breaking out the bug spray against future swarming.
